Halloween 2013

More pumpkin carving pics

One pumpkin was so thick they had to bust out the power tools to cut it!

We had a good time at the Squire Halloween party, as usual

Wait, haven't we already seen those costumes? Awkward...

Twinners

Ada wanted to dress up as Merida. Her hair is already red, so we didn't have to get a wig. I saw a tutorial online on how to get the corkscrew curls using straws.

Before:

After:

When I took the straws out the curls were SO tight and didn't look at all how Ada thought they would. She threw a fit and didn't want to go to school. Luckily she bucked up and after time they calmed down a little bit

Kate was Rapunzel. We had fun going to their school Halloween parade

I made a jack-o-lantern pizza for dinner

Ready to trick-or-treat!

Plumb tuckered out little cheetah

Lyla's 2nd birthday

Lyla turned two! She, of course, wanted an Elmo birthday party. We invited our families over for pizza. Ly got a little overwhelmed by all the people and presents, but overall she loved being the center of attention.

She got to open one present in the morning: new clothes!

That night the festivities began

October 2013

Our computer has been down for months, but today it's mysteriously working! I might dump a bunch of posts before it quits on me again.

Ada and Kate are crazy! They came up to me like this and said, "We're the mysterious bag people!"

City Creek play area

Ada's cute soccer team

We went to Gardner Village with my mom to see all the witches

Random pic at Old Navy

Baskin Robbins

Cutest sisters

Tyler's mom took us to Discovery Gateway. The girls had fun with cousins

Our ward had a chili cook-off/trunk-or-treat Halloween party. I'm happy to say that we had avoided trunk-or-treats until this point. This was our first one ever! When you're in the bishopric you kind of have to participate in ward activities...

Sleepy baby

Annual pumpkin carving with the Squires

The girls had crazy hair/silly sock day at school. Ada's hair was a plate of spaghetti. Can you see the fork sticking out of it? Thanks to Korrin for the idea! Poor Kate kind of looks homeless...
