The setup. This makes it look pretty girly. (Sorry the picture is blurry)
I bought an Eiffel Tower candy mold and used milk, white, and pink-colored chocolate for the party favors
I attached some glow sticks since Paris is the City of Lights and added a little tag (decorations courtesy of Etsy)
Basket of party favors
I really wanted to make cupcakes but Ada insisted on a cake with an Eiffel Tower on it

The big day finally came! Since Ada's birthday was on a Sunday, we had the party on Saturday at noon. We ate crepes for lunch with lots of topping options. There was also French bread, cheese, and bubbly to drink, with French music playing in the background
The boys didn't want to eat anything! I finally got Keaton to eat some whipped cream, but that was about it!

Jace, Jack, and Keaton
After lunch we cleared some space for painting. I thought that would be a good unisex activity. After much debate and thought, I just decided to have them do it on the kitchen floor (they just used craft paint so it was no big deal to clean up). They each got a canvas and went to town
After painting, we went downstairs for games. I pulled up a YouTube video of one of Ada's favorite French songs she learned at school and the kids played a game that was like a combination of musical chairs and spoons. They had a lot of fun and Jace came out the winner. While I was setting up, the kids were being crazy (I am so not used to boys!) so my mom got them all to sit down and play telephone. She was so helpful during the party! We then played pin-the-butterfly-on-the-Eiffel-Tower (Ada's idea) and got pictures in the photo booth

Then, of course, there were presents. Ada loved everything she got!
Notice the Eiffel Tower necklace? That's the one present from us that she got to open early since it went along with the theme of the party
Last, we sang to Ada and ate cake and ice cream
Blowing out the candle
The boys had no problem eating dessert!
Lyla made an appearance at the end after her nap
Tyler needed a break after cooking all those crepes. Parties are a lot of work!
Ada was thrilled with the way everything turned out. There were a couple of friends that were missed but we were happy that most people were able to come. Thanks to everyone who helped out and who showed up to make Ada's party special
The next day was her actual birthday. She got to open presents from us in the morning but the rest of the day was pretty much a normal Sunday
