We aren't big campers, but were invited to go with some friends in the ward. The Beebes own some land in San Pete county with Enos's family. We were planning on sleeping in trailers up there, but it was pretty rainy. Luckily, Audrey's family owns a cabin/house not too far from there, so we had a warm, dry place to stay for the night. The Laytons also came and we had lots of fun hanging out, eating, and 4-wheeling in the mud. It got pretty cold the second day, but it was gorgeous down there

September 2014--Ada's baptism
Ada was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on September 6. It was such a lovely day! We missed Tyler's parents (who are on a mission in Uganda) and Morgan and Jordan (who gave birth to Talmage that day), but most of our other family members were able to attend. Ada was beaming the whole day!

September 2014
September was another busy month. Let's start with some random photos, shall we?
We found a few caterpillars in our kitchen, much to our chagrin. We finally discovered that they were coming from the corn that Tyler purchased at the farmer's market. The girls talk about those little critters to this day
I couldn't resist a photo of Ly during a potty break while out shopping
Lyla started Joy School. She goes with three other girls from the neighborhood and one their cousins and she LOVES it. She was so excited to wear a backpack
Ang and Hyrum came to town! Hyrum was playing around with the girls and Ang was feeling a little left out...
Ly and I went to meet her new baby cousin, Talmage
This was a precious sight to walk into
I started running a little bit in the fall and sported this Peeta Mellark shirt for one run. I had to snap a pic for Rachel, who gave it to me for my b-day
Ada completed another masterpiece at art
We went to Seven Peaks for a final time on Labor Day
Tyler took the girls to Cherry Hill with the Dickson girls and Ang while the rest of us watched BYU wallop Texas at Dude's house. Those were the days when Taysom was healthy and BYU was fun to watch...
Our water heater sprung a leak and had to be replaced. It was a miracle that Tyler discovered it when he did--he'd been asleep on the basement couch and inexplicably woke up. I can't even wake him up to come up to bed
Ang and Hy were able to come to the Ogden Temple Open House with us

August 2014--baptism photo shoot
Ada was supposed to get baptized in August, but since my parents were in Virginia helping Emily have a baby while her husband was deployed in Qatar, we decided to wait until September. Tyler's parents are on a mission in Uganda, so Ada wanted at least one set of grandparents there! We went to Temple Square to take some pictures for her baptism announcement. I just used my iPhone, so they aren't anything special, but I still think they turned out well. I wanted a dress that was unique and had a hard time finding what I pictured in my head, but Zulily finally came to the rescue.
