Tyler had to drive to Grand Junction for work, so at the last minute we decided to tag along.
On the way down, we decided to stop at the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry. It was quite a bit out of the way, and we got there just before closing time. The jury is still out as to whether or not it was worth the drive
We finally arrived in Grand Junction and decided to eat at Chuck E. Cheese's so the kids could play after such a long drive. Sadly, this is the only picture we took!
After Tyler's meetings the next morning, we drove to Moab and spent some time at Arches N.P. Utah really is a beautiful state
Sadly, we couldn't drive to the Delicate Arch lookout because the road was flooded. We didn't see any rain, but it had rained a lot the week before. Tyler decided to be adventurous and take the back roads out of the park. Our little Highlander had never done any off-roading, but she handled it well. There were many warning signs about how bad the bumps and puddles would be. We got a little nervous a few times, but it all worked out in the end!
We ate dinner at a little diner across from out hotel. The sundae looks better than it tasted
The next day we drove to Dead Horse Point
Then we drove through Canyonlands before heading home. It was a short trip with lots of driving, but we had a great time

I love looking at all your fun trips. Your girls are so lucky to get to see and do so much!! This trip looks amazing! I am impressed your girls do so well on the long drives, maybe one day our Amberly will do well in the car. Yay for road-trips!!
