Sweet Victory x 2

It's a good year to be a BYU fan. First there was the dramatic last-second win at Rice-Eccles Stadium for the football team, and last night the Cougar basketball team beat the Utes at the Huntsman Center for the first time in 13 years. The Cougs are now tied for first place in the MWC standings with two ranked teams, Air Force and UNLV. BYU led by 7 at halftime and the game was never even close in the second half. They did it without a great game from their star center Trent Plaisted, who was in foul trouble for most of the contest. I almost went to the game, but decided to stay home since it started at 8:00 and Ada now goes to bed around 8:30. It would have been fun, but then I would have missed seeing the AWESOME victory the Jazz had over the Spurs. Okur once again came up clutch in the final minute and the Jazz were able to hang on. They are now one of only four teams in the NBA with at least 30 wins. It was a pleasing night all around!

I love that both you and Tyler have blog entries about this game, yet very different opinions on its outcome ;) Isn't it fun having a rivalry in your marriage :)

The refs were all Bishops... So it's no wonder that the Utes lost!

Yeah, since the refs couldn't be bought, that would make it tough on the Utes.

Hey, bishops know their stuff... just ask your dad.
