What a Guy!

This semester has been extremely busy for Tyler. He's had to juggle school, work, and church, plus a cranky wife and baby. In addition to his always busy school schedule, he's had his senior project to work on all semester. He finished his portion and presented it at the end of March, but he's still been putting time in to help the other students he worked on it with to finish theirs. He just got released as Elders Quorum President (before that he was Executive Secretary), but that kept him very busy as well. With all that, he's had to try and squeeze 20 hours of work in every week. I seriously don't know how he does it! He is amazing. He's tried to work on homework at home just so he can see more of Ada and me, even though I'm sure he would be much more productive doing it at school. I have to say that he is doing a fantastic job. Electrical Engineering is one of the toughest and most time-consuming undergraduate programs. Most students have to retake at least one class, but he hasn't had to retake any. In fact, he has maintained a 3.5 gpa, a difficult feat for any student, let alone one with a wife & child at home who has to work. Although this semester isn't over yet and he still has another year of school before he'll have his masters, I'm extremely proud of him. I probably don't make things any easier on him by wishing he was around more, but he has done a great job of balancing everything. Even though he'll be working full-time this summer, I hope he can get some time to relax. He deserves it. He's amazing and I'm so lucky to have him!
