On the way down we stopped at the Monticello Temple and Four Corners
Angie, Hyrum, and Emily were able to fly in to attend the funeral. My parents drove down with my grandma and my grandpa and uncle also drove down. Before the funeral, we went to Old Town Albuquerque with Emily and the Marstons and ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant
The ladies outside the church
Dickson sisters (minus Abby) with our beautiful Hussey cousins. It was a really rough time for them but they did an amazing job planning the funeral and luncheon afterward
Mom, Grandma, and Avery thrown in the mix
The girls enjoyed rolling down the hill at the church
Kate and Lyla had fun playing with Avery and Hailey
Our hotel room. Look at these crazy sleepers!
The day after the funeral we stopped by the Albuquerque Temple on our way out of town
We also visited the Sandia Peak Tramway. The tram travels 2.7 miles up the mountain
It was cold at the top! We got to see some amazing views and eat at the restaurant up there
We drove along historic Route 66
We stopped by Petrified Forest National Park before staying in Flagstaff for the night
The next day we went to the Grand Canyon. It is so huge and gorgeous. I could have stared at the breathtaking views for hours. We were glad that we were there on September 30 because the next day it was closed due to the government shutdown!

I am sorry to hear about your aunt's passing. So difficult. I do however love all the fun stuff you did on the trip. Love all the beautiful national parks and four corners is cool. We really enjoyed when we went a few years ago ; ) I think you guys visited almost all the national parks on the west last year, hehe! And that tram ride in Albuquerque looks so cool, the views are amazing!! Even the temple looks lovely. The Grand Canyon sure is grand, right? It's so fun to see all your travels it makes me feel like I traveled with you all, hehe! Lots of great memories.
