October 2014--Halloween

Halloween was on a Friday and there was no school that day, so they did their festivities the day before. I went solo to the Halloween parade since Lyla was at Joy School and Tyler at work

Later that day I helped with Ada's class party. The kids put Oreos on their foreheads and tried to get them in their mouths without using hands. Not the most sanitary activity :s

They also picked up spider rings with straws that were in their mouths. They had fun switching off between these two games

That night my parents hosted a Halloween party. Can you believe all eight of these girls were looking at the camera and smiling? Grandpa did a good job being silly

Tyler came home from work early on Halloween and carved pumpkins with the girls. I'm not sure what the licking is all about

It was finally time for trick-or-treating. Anna, a witch, and an artist were ready to go!

The Andrew girls came with us. Hailey and Lyla were both Anna! I took the kids up and down our whole street while Tyler handed out candy and then we switched. After only a few houses he brought Lyla home and said she was slowing them down. Punk!
